In this 8-hour programme, students will learn about chemistry and biology, the way science behaves as well as how scientists conduct experiments and research to progress humanity’s understanding of the world around us. They will learn to create and challenge hypotheses, conduct research, and use the scientific method to run experiments to prove their hypotheses.
Highlights of the workshop: Students will use Minecraft: Education Edition to learn about the fundamentals of Chemistry and Biology, as well as the basis for scientific research and experimentation, known as the scientific method. They will then work in teams to conduct research on their chosen scientific topic and present their findings in a 5-minute video. They will learn to create and challenge hypotheses, conduct research, and use the scientific method to run experiments to prove their hypotheses.
